Account: Profile & settings on Wayo Ads

Your profile, security, notifications, billing details, and account deletion — what you can manage and where to find it.

Overview

Your Wayo Ads account covers who you are on the platform, how you sign in, how you get notified, and your legal billing profile. Creators and advertisers share the same Settings page. At signup you choose one role — Creator or Advertiser — and it stays fixed on your account.

Account Menu

In your creator or advertiser dashboard, the Account group in the sidebar groups everything related to your account:

Settings

Account → Settings

Profile, password, notifications, active sessions, and account deletion.

Business Info

Account → Business Info

Legal billing profile — required before creator payouts or advertiser wallet deposits.

Connect YouTube

Account → Connect YouTube (creators only)

Optional channel link for trust score and Video/Shorts campaigns.

Settings

Open Settings from:

  1. Your profile picture or initials in the top navigation → Settings.
  2. Your dashboard sidebar → Account → Settings.

Settings has four tabs. Use the left sidebar to switch between them.

Profile

Your display name, photo, and account details.

  • Display name and profile photo
  • Email, role, and member since (view only)

Security

Password and signed-in devices.

  • Change password (email sign-in only)
  • Active sessions — revoke unknown devices

Notifications

How Wayo Ads alerts you.

  • In-app notifications
  • Email alerts for important events
  • Notification sound
  • Browser push (desktop)

Danger Zone

Permanent account removal.

  • Schedule account deletion with a 30-day grace period
  • Cancel deletion before the deadline

Profile

On Settings → Profile, update your display name and photo, then click Save Changes. Your email address is view-only.

What you can edit

  • Display name — shown on your profile and in messages.
  • Profile photo — upload JPG, PNG, or GIF. The image is resized and compressed automatically.

View only

  • Email address — tied to your Wayo login.
  • Role — Creator or Advertiser, chosen at signup.
  • Member since — the date your account was created.
If you signed up with Google or Apple, your email comes from that provider and cannot be changed on Wayo Ads.

Security

On Settings → Security, manage your password and active sessions.

Change password

Available if you signed up with email and password. Enter your current password, then your new password (minimum 8 characters). If you signed in with Google or Apple, change your password in your Google or Apple account.

Active sessions

  • See every device currently signed in to your account.
  • Revoke a session to sign out that device immediately.
  • Use Sign out all other devices to keep only the device you are on now.

Notifications

On Settings → Notifications, each toggle saves automatically when you switch it.

Enable In-App Notifications

Real-time alerts inside Wayo Ads (campaign updates, messages, wallet activity).

Enable Email Notifications

Email for critical platform events such as payment failures, budget alerts, campaign updates, withdrawal status, and application decisions.

Notification Sound

Play a sound when a new in-app notification arrives.

Desktop browser notifications

Optional Web Push for desktop: system tray alerts even when Wayo Ads is closed. Turn on under Settings → Notifications, then allow permission in your browser. Needs a supported browser on the live site. Separate from the mobile apps.

Business Info

Your legal billing profile lives on Account → Business Info. Complete it before connecting Stripe (creators) or adding wallet funds (advertisers). Advertisers also pick USD or EUR here. Creators do not choose a currency.

  • Business type — Individual or Registered Company.
  • Company name and VAT / Tax ID (required for registered companies).
  • Full address — street, city, postal code, and country.
  • Advertisers only: choose USD or EUR. That becomes your wallet currency for deposits, invoices, and every campaign you create. Creators who earn on those campaigns are paid in the same currency.
  • Creators: there is no currency field. Each earning stays in the currency of the campaign you joined (USD and/or EUR). Withdraw each currency separately from your wallet.
Without completed Business Info, creator payouts and advertiser wallet deposits stay blocked.

Connect YouTube

Creators can link a YouTube channel from Account → Connect YouTube. Connecting is optional but helps with trust score and Video/Shorts campaigns. See the YouTube resource guide for full details.

Delete Account

On Settings → Danger Zone, you can permanently close your Wayo Ads account.

  1. Click Delete my account and confirm with your password (or re-sign in with Google/Apple if that is how you log in).
  2. Your account enters a 30-day grace period. You can cancel deletion anytime before the deadline from the same page.
  3. After the grace period, your Wayo Ads data is permanently removed. Your Wayo login used for sign-in remains — only your Wayo Ads workspace is deleted.
Before deleting: withdraw creator earnings or use advertiser wallet funds. Pending balances are lost after deletion. Your email becomes available for a new Wayo Ads signup later, but past data is not restored.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I change my email address?

No. Email is view-only on the Profile tab. If you need a different email, create a separate Wayo account. After a full account deletion, the same email can be used for a new empty account.

Can I switch from Creator to Advertiser?

No. You pick one role at signup and it stays fixed. To work as both a creator and a brand, create a second account with a different email and choose the other role.

I signed in with Google — how do I change my password?

Password changes for Google or Apple sign-in are done in your Google or Apple account settings.

Who chooses USD or EUR?

Advertisers choose USD or EUR in Business Info. That is the wallet and campaign currency. Creators do not pick a currency there — earnings follow the campaign they joined. See Earnings and Billing for the full flow.
