At Wayo Ads, we are committed to collecting and using your data responsibly, in compliance with applicable data protection laws in the jurisdictions where we operate, including U.S. federal and state law where relevant, and, where applicable to users in the EEA or UK, the GDPR (EU 2016/679). By using our platform, you agree to the collection, processing, and use of your data as described in this privacy policy.

2. Data We Collect

We only collect data that is necessary, in accordance with applicable law and, where relevant, the GDPR.

For Advertisers

Identification and contact data: Email address; business/legal details you provide in Business Info (business type, company name where applicable, tax/VAT identifiers, billing address, country, currency). Campaigns: Campaign title and description, budgets, CPC/CPM rates, geo-targeting, landing/tracking URLs, campaign logo (if provided), and analytics/performance data. Payments: Wallet top-ups and campaign billing processed via Stripe (card details handled by Stripe; Wayo Ads does not store full card numbers).

For Creators

Identification and contact data: Name, email address. Profile: Profile photo (if provided), display name, Trust Score and tier, targeting/location preferences shown on your public creator profile, and connected social channel data. Content and submissions: Unlisted YouTube video URLs you submit for Video/Shorts campaigns; tracking links for Link campaigns; files you attach in advertiser–creator messages. Usage and earnings data: Platform interactions, validated views/clicks, wallet balances, and payout history. When you authorize YouTube access: OAuth tokens, channel ID, channel title, and public channel/video statistics used for verification, trust scoring, your creator profile, and advertiser review. Separately, when you submit a campaign video URL, Wayo Ads may retrieve that video's public statistics via YouTube's official API to measure campaign performance. Business and payout data: Information you provide in Business Info and Stripe Connect onboarding (processed by Stripe).

Technical Information (All Users)

Technical data: IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, session identifiers, timestamps, pages visited, clicks, referrers. Cookies and similar technologies: See section 8 (cookies).

Payment Data

Transactions: Amounts, currency, date, payment method, and billing details. Advertiser wallet top-ups are processed by Stripe; a bank processing fee may apply on card deposits. Creator payouts are sent via Stripe Connect after withdrawal approval. Important: Card and bank account details are processed by Stripe. Wayo Ads does not store full card numbers.

3. YouTube API Services

Wayo Ads uses YouTube API Services so creators can optionally connect a YouTube channel with read-only access. We use this access to verify channel ownership and to retrieve public channel profile statistics (subscribers, lifetime views, recent uploads) for your Wayo Ads profile, YouTube verification, trust scoring, and advertiser review when you apply to campaigns. Campaign view measurement for video and Shorts is separate: after you submit an unlisted video URL, Wayo Ads retrieves that video's view statistics through YouTube's official API. We do not use YouTube data for advertising unrelated to Wayo Ads services, and we do not sell this data. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. By connecting YouTube, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. You may disconnect YouTube inside Wayo Ads settings, and you may revoke Wayo Ads' access at any time via your Google Account permissions. 4. Purpose of Using Your Data

We use your data to: Provide, maintain, and improve Wayo Ads services. Operate campaigns, wallets, analytics, messaging, and AI tools you choose to use. Manage accounts, billing, payouts, and support requests. Send service notifications (updates, security alerts, payout status). Ensure platform security and integrity (abuse and fraud detection). Produce aggregated or anonymized usage statistics.

5. Legal Bases for Processing

Depending on the case, we rely on: Your consent (e.g., non-essential cookies). Performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures (e.g., registration, campaign participation, billing, payouts). Compliance with a legal obligation (e.g., invoice and tax record retention). Our legitimate interest (e.g., security, fraud prevention, and service improvement).

6. Sharing Your Information

Wayo Ads does not sell your personal data. Limited sharing may occur with: Essential service providers (payment processors such as Stripe, hosting providers, emailing tools, analytics). Legal reasons: If required by law or in response to a legitimate request from a competent authority.

7. Data Security

TLS/HTTPS encryption for data in transit. Access controls based on need-to-know. Regular backups and restoration procedures. Security updates and periodic audits. Logging and detection of abnormal activities.

8. User Responsibilities and Content Protection

Respect the intellectual property rights of creators and Wayo Ads. Do not copy, share, redistribute, or resell platform data or other users' private information without authorization. Any violation may result in account suspension and, if applicable, legal action.

9. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use: Essential cookies (site functionality, security, session). Analytical cookies (e.g., Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity) for audience measurement, heatmaps, and session replay. Non-essential cookies are only set with your consent via a cookie banner on your first visit.

10. Data Retention

We retain your data only as long as necessary for the purposes outlined in this policy. When you delete your account, the request starts a 30-day grace period during which you can cancel it. After that period, your personal data is erased or anonymized: identifying information (name, email, profile, connected channels, payment details) is removed. However, financial and transactional records required by law — such as invoices, payments, and payout statements — are kept in anonymized form, dissociated from your identity, for up to 10 years for accounting and tax purposes, after which they are permanently deleted. Once your account is anonymized, your email address becomes available again and you may create a new account with it (past data is not restored).

11. Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child without parental consent, we will take steps to delete such information.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.

14. Cloudflare Turnstile - Bot Detection

Wayo Ads uses Cloudflare Turnstile in invisible mode to detect and block automated (bot) traffic on tracking links opened inside mobile app WebViews (such as Instagram and TikTok in-app browsers). Turnstile may collect non-personal technical signals from your device (including your IP address, browser characteristics, and interaction patterns) solely for the purpose of distinguishing humans from automated scripts. No personal identification data is collected by Turnstile in this context. Use of Cloudflare Turnstile is governed by the Cloudflare Privacy Policy and, for invisible mode, the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

15. Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising

We partner with Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising to capture how you use and interact with our website through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay to improve and market our products/services. Website usage data is captured using first and third-party cookies and other tracking technologies to determine the popularity of products/services and online activity. Additionally, we use this information for site optimization, fraud/security purposes, and advertising. Clarity is loaded only when you consent to analytics cookies.
