2. Personal data we collect

Wayo Ads collects the data necessary to create user accounts, connect advertisers with creators, and operate its services.

a. Account and Profile Information

When registering for and using the platform, we may collect:

First name, last name, and email address;
Country and company information, where applicable;
Profile information voluntarily provided by users;
Information relating to user accounts and their use of the platform.

Creators' public profiles may be viewed by visitors to the platform, including those who are not logged in.

b. Campaigns, collaborations and messaging

As part of collaborations between advertisers and creators, Wayo Ads records and retains information necessary to manage campaigns, including briefs, collaboration proposals, negotiations, messages exchanged on the platform, and campaign statistics.

Only advertisers can initiate conversations with creators. These conversations may take place before a campaign is launched.

c. Payments and invoicing

Payments are processed through Stripe. Wayo Ads retains the information necessary to track transactions, amounts, commissions, payments, transfers, and invoices issued by Wayo Ads.

Wayo Ads does not store complete payment card details.

d. YouTube data

When a creator connects their YouTube channel to Wayo Ads, the platform may retrieve information about the channel through Google's services and the YouTube API, including the channel identifier, subscriber count, number of videos, and average video view statistics.

This information is updated when the creator requests a refresh. When the creator disconnects their channel, the channel data stored in the Wayo Ads database is deleted.

Use of these features is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy. Permissions granted to Google services can be managed through the Google Account security settings.

e. Technical and Security Data

We may collect technical information related to the use of the platform, including IP addresses, browser and device characteristics, login dates, and activity logs necessary for the security and proper functioning of our services.

We also use technical diagnostic tools, including Sentry, to identify and resolve operational errors.

3. Purposes and Legal Bases for Processing

Certain information is shared between advertisers and creators when necessary for connections, communications, and campaigns. Information displayed on creators' public profiles is accessible to visitors.

We also use technical service providers for hosting, payments, YouTube services, website analytics, and technical diagnostics.

5. Cookies and Analytics Tools

Wayo Ads uses cookies necessary for the operation of the platform, as well as Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to analyze website traffic and improve the user experience.

These analytics tools are activated only with visitors' consent, and visitors may change their preferences at any time.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it is processed, subject to applicable legal obligations.

Account deletion: When a user requests account deletion, they have a 30-day period during which they may cancel their request. After this period, their identifying information, including their name, email address, profile photo, and sessions, is deleted from the active system.
Financial documents: Invoices and financial records are retained for 10 years and then deleted in accordance with applicable rules.
YouTube data: Channel data stored in the Wayo Ads database is deleted when a creator disconnects their channel.
Technical and security data: Login and activity logs are retained while the account is active and deleted when the account is deleted, except for information that must be retained for legal or security reasons.
Backups: Certain data may remain in technical backups after deletion from the active system, according to the backup retention cycle.

Certain information may be retained for longer where required by law or where necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

7. User Rights

In accordance with applicable law, users have rights regarding their personal data, including the right to access, correct, or request the deletion of their data, or to restrict certain uses of it.

Users may also exercise other rights provided by applicable law, including the rights to object, to data portability, and to withdraw consent.

11. Cloudflare Turnstile - Bot Detection

Wayo Ads uses Cloudflare Turnstile in invisible mode to detect and block automated (bot) traffic on tracking links opened inside mobile app WebViews (such as Instagram and TikTok in-app browsers). Turnstile may collect non-personal technical signals from your device (including your IP address, browser characteristics, and interaction patterns) solely for the purpose of distinguishing humans from automated scripts. No personal identification data is collected by Turnstile in this context. Use of Cloudflare Turnstile is governed by the Cloudflare Privacy Policy and, for invisible mode, the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
