Content Lab: AI-powered video research and content planning

Content Lab AI is a suite of 14 AI-powered YouTube video analysis tools. Import videos by pasting a public or unlisted YouTube link, browsing trending content filtered by country and category, searching YouTube directly, or using the Wayo Ads Saver Chrome extension. Open Content Lab from Go Viral → Content Lab (creator account, desktop) and run any tool for clear takeaways on packaging, hooks, retention, and revenue potential.

Overview

Content Lab AI gives you 14 tools to analyze any YouTube video — public or unlisted — as long as you have the link. Private videos are not supported. Access requires a creator account — open Go Viral → Content Lab (desktop only). Import videos by pasting a link in the search bar, browsing trending videos filtered by country and category, searching YouTube directly from the app, or using the free Wayo Ads Saver Chrome extension (Analyze → Save to Wayo → Sync to Wayo Ads). Every video you save is available across Content Lab and Content Spy.

Quickstart

  1. 1Import a video. Paste any public or unlisted YouTube link in the search bar, browse trending content filtered by country and category, search YouTube directly from the app, or use the Wayo Ads Saver Chrome extension on a YouTube video page (Analyze → Save to Wayo → then send to Wayo Ads).
  2. 2Choose one of the 14 AI tools — for example, Click Probability to see how likely viewers are to click on a given title and thumbnail.
  3. 3The AI analyzes that specific dimension and returns a report. Most Content Lab analyses cost 3 credits; Generate Viral Hooks costs 3; Generate Scripts costs 10. Cross Video Patterns (multi-video comparison) costs 5 + 2 per video (e.g. 9 credits for 2 videos, 13 for 4). Content Spy tools have separate costs (see AI Credits).
  4. 4Run additional tools on the same video, or compare 2 to 4 videos with Cross Video Patterns in the Patterns panel: select several videos, then run it.
You receive 100 free credits when your AI Credits wallet is created — no credit card required. Additional credits can be purchased once your free balance is used.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a minimum number of followers to use Content Lab?

No. Content Lab is available and useful for creators at any stage, from zero subscribers to millions.

How does Content Lab AI work?

Sign in with a creator account and open Go Viral → Content Lab (desktop). Import a video — paste a public or unlisted YouTube link, browse trending content, search YouTube, or use the Wayo Ads Saver Chrome extension. Pick an AI tool (e.g., Click Probability, Hook & Structure Breakdown, Packaging Optimizer) and the AI analyzes that dimension. Most Lab analyses cost 3 credits; Generate Scripts costs 10. You receive 100 free credits when your AI Credits wallet is created.

Can I analyze unlisted YouTube videos?

Yes. Paste the direct link to any unlisted video you uploaded to YouTube. The video must exist on YouTube (unlisted is fine); private videos and local drafts without a YouTube URL are not supported.

Can I use Content Lab AI on my own videos before publishing?

Yes — upload your video to YouTube as unlisted, copy the direct link, and paste it in Content Lab. Tools like Click Probability, Retention Strength, and Packaging Optimizer help you fix weak packaging before switching to public. Retention analysis works best once captions are available.

Can I compare multiple videos at once?

Yes — use Cross Video Patterns in the Patterns panel. Select 2 to 4 videos, then run it (5 credits plus 2 per video). The 14 single-video tools still run on one video at a time. See the Cross Video Patterns page for the full guide.
