Wayo Ads Saver: Free Chrome extension for YouTube creators

Wayo Ads Saver is a free Chrome extension that lets you save YouTube videos to your Wayo Ads account from any standard watch page. Click "Analyze in Wayo Ads", then "Save to Wayo", then "Sync to Wayo Ads" — three clicks to get a video into your saved videos. Add optional notes (200 characters). Videos you have not sent yet can also upload automatically when you connect your account. Videos you send appear in Content Lab and Content Spy — no URL pasting required.

Overview

Wayo Ads Saver is the bridge between YouTube and your Wayo Ads account. On standard YouTube video pages, an "Analyze in Wayo Ads" button appears next to Share — not on Shorts, the homepage, or the feed. The workflow is three clicks: open the panel, save locally with "Save to Wayo" (status "Local"), then send to Wayo Ads (status "Synced"). Connect your Wayo Ads account first; local videos you have not sent yet can also upload automatically when you first connect. Videos you send become available in Content Lab and Content Spy for analysis.

What It Does

Save and send in three clicks

On YouTube video pages: (1) "Analyze in Wayo Ads" opens the panel, (2) "Save to Wayo" captures title, thumbnail, channel, and an optional note locally, (3) send to Wayo Ads to add the video to your account. The button only appears on standard video pages — not Shorts or the homepage.

Draggable Workspace Panel

A 320×450px sticky panel opens on YouTube. You can drag it anywhere on the page, minimize it, or close it. It has two tabs: Save Video and Saved Videos.

Save locally, send when ready

Videos are saved locally in your browser first — no account required (status "Local"). Send them to Wayo Ads from the Saved Videos tab, or let all videos you have not sent yet upload automatically when you connect your account.

After you send a video (status "Synced"), it appears in Content Lab and Content Spy. The extension does not save the same video twice.

Add Notes (200 characters)

Each saved video supports a short note — ideal for jotting down why you saved it, what caught your attention, or what you want to analyze later.

Works on All Chromium Browsers

Compatible with Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera, Vivaldi, Arc, and any other Chromium-based browser. The extension only runs on YouTube.com.

Install & Setup

    Install from the Chrome Web Store

    Visit the Wayo Ads Saver page on the Chrome Web Store and click "Add to Chrome". The extension is free and requires no credit card.

    Connect your Wayo Ads account

    On first install, a tab opens to sign in at wayo-ads.com — you return to your dashboard after login. Connect via Google in the extension popup or panel. Once connected, local videos you have not sent yet upload automatically; you can also send to Wayo Ads anytime from the Saved Videos tab.

    Start saving videos

    Open a standard YouTube video page. Click "Analyze in Wayo Ads", then "Save to Wayo", then send to Wayo Ads from the Saved Videos tab — three clicks. The button does not appear on Shorts or the YouTube homepage.

    Analyze in Content Lab or Content Spy

    After you send them, videos appear in your saved videos. Open Content Lab or Content Spy from Go Viral (desktop, creator account) to run AI tools.

The extension is completely free — save as many videos as you want. AI analysis uses credits: you receive 100 free credits when your AI Credits wallet is created. Content Lab and Content Spy require a creator account and desktop browser.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the extension cost anything?

No. Wayo Ads Saver is completely free. There is no subscription, no credit card requirement, and no limit on how many videos you can save.

Do I need a Wayo Ads account to use the extension?

No. You can save videos locally without an account. To send them to your Wayo Ads account and use them in Content Lab or Content Spy, you need a free Wayo Ads account with a creator role. Content Lab and Content Spy run on desktop only.

Does saving automatically send the video to my Wayo Ads account?

No. Saving stores the video locally first (status "Local"). Send it to Wayo Ads from the Saved Videos tab. When you connect your Wayo Ads account, all videos you have not sent yet upload automatically once.

Which YouTube pages show the button?

Only standard YouTube video pages (when you are watching a full video). The button does not appear on YouTube Shorts, the homepage, search results, or channel pages.

Which browsers are supported?

The extension works on Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera, Vivaldi, Arc, and any Chromium-based browser. Firefox and Safari are not supported at this time.

Where do my saved videos appear?

Videos you send appear in your saved videos, accessible from Content Lab and Content Spy. They also appear in the extension's "Saved Videos" tab on YouTube with status Local or Synced.

Can I save videos from platforms other than YouTube?

Currently, Wayo Ads Saver only works on YouTube.com. The button and panel only appear on standard YouTube video pages.
