Revenue Potential

A Content Lab tool that estimates monetization opportunities — ad revenue potential, sponsorship appeal, and audience buying power — then returns a 0–100 Revenue Potential Score.

Overview

Revenue Potential sits in Content Lab under Video Analysis. Open the dashboard sidebar menu: Go Viral → Content Lab (creator account, desktop), load a public or unlisted YouTube video, then run Revenue Potential. Each run costs 3 AI credits — the same cost as other Content Lab video-analysis tools.

This is an AI monetization-strategy estimate (ads, sponsorships, audience value). It is not YouTube Studio revenue, not a guaranteed RPM, and not a forecast of actual earnings.

How to run

  1. 1Sign in as a creator. In the dashboard sidebar menu, open Go Viral → Content Lab (desktop).
  2. 2Import a video: paste a public or unlisted YouTube URL, pick one from your vault, or use a video saved via the Wayo Ads Saver extension.
  3. 3In Video Analysis, choose Revenue Potential and run it (3 credits).
  4. 4Read the three sub-scores, the overall Revenue Potential Score, estimated RPM range wording, and monetization recommendations.
You receive 100 free credits when your AI Credits wallet is created. Credits are deducted only after a successful analysis result. Title, niche, format, and engagement stats are the primary signals; captions are optional and secondary.

What it uses

Each analysis looks at the video’s title, packaging, and performance. Monetization signals come primarily from title, niche/category, format/duration, and engagement — not from YouTube Studio earnings data.

  • Title and channel name
  • Engagement stats when present: views, likes, comments
  • When present: title, description, and tags, plus video type (e.g. Short vs longer video), duration, and publish date

Fetched when available

  • Captions (secondary — can refine topic and brand-safety cues)
  • Thumbnail description generated from the video thumbnail image
Without captions, the tool still runs a full analysis and does not mention the absence. It relies on category, engagement, and audience signals from title, niche, format, and performance.

Scoring framework

The tool scores three parts of the score, then produces one overall Revenue Potential Score (0–100). The percentages below show how much each part counts toward the score.

Ad Revenue Potential

30%
  • Category CPM signals inferred from title and niche
  • Watch-time / mid-roll suitability from duration and format
  • Advertiser-friendly cues (brand-safe topic framing)
  • Niche RPM benchmarks as strategic context (not Studio numbers)

Sponsorship Appeal

35%
  • Brand-safe positioning for partner pitches
  • Product-integration fit from topic and format
  • Demographics inferred from niche and engagement patterns
  • Creator authority signals for sponsorship readiness

Audience Value

35%
  • Buying-power cues from topic and niche
  • Engagement quality (likes, comments relative to views when present)
  • Conversion potential for offers and affiliate-style angles
  • Evergreen vs trending lifecycle of the subject

What you get

Results appear in the Content Lab result screen.

  • Three sub-scores — Ad Revenue Potential, Sponsorship Appeal, Audience Value — each as XX / 100 with a short justification.
  • One overall Revenue Potential Score: XX / 100, plus a one-line verdict, an estimated RPM range, and monetization recommendations.
  • Findings use strategic reasoning from title, niche, format, and performance; caption quotes only when captions add useful topic or brand-safety detail. Key insights appear as quotes.
Scores and RPM ranges are the tool’s estimates — not YouTube Studio revenue and not guaranteed earnings.

Case study

Illustrative composite scenario for documentation — not a live client report. Scores below show the results; they are the tool’s estimates, not YouTube Studio revenue or guaranteed RPM/earnings.

An anonymous finance/productivity creator reviews a longer explainer to map the monetization path before pitching sponsors — prioritizing title, stats, and niche over captions.

Context (inputs available)

  • Captions optional / secondary when present
  • Thumbnail description optional
  • Cost: 3 AI credits

  • Niche + engagement patterns support creator authority for sponsor outreach.

Audience Value

  • Topic implies higher buying-power intent than pure entertainment.

Takeaways

  • Plan mid-roll ad breaks for longer explainers in this niche.
  • Lead sponsor pitches with brand-safe angles grounded in the topic (tools, systems, workflows) — not invented earnings claims.
  • Package evergreen cuts so audience value compounds beyond a single trend cycle.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this my YouTube Studio revenue or RPM?

No. Revenue Potential is an AI monetization-strategy estimate. It does not import Studio earnings, RPM, or AdSense numbers, and it does not guarantee income.

What if there are no captions?

The analysis still runs and does not mention missing captions. It uses category, engagement, and audience signals from title, niche, format, and performance.

Are the RPM figures real earnings?

No. Any estimated RPM range is strategic wording from the tool — illustrative for planning, not a payment forecast.

How much does one run cost?

3 AI credits per Revenue Potential run, same as other Content Lab video-analysis tools.
