Pattern Fusion
A Content Lab tool that discovers how multiple content patterns are combined into unique, high-performing formats — then returns a 0–100 Pattern Fusion Score and a Replication Blueprint.
Overview
Pattern Fusion sits in Content Lab under Viral Mechanics. Open the dashboard sidebar menu: Go Viral → Content Lab (creator account, desktop), load a public or unlisted YouTube video, then run Pattern Fusion. Each run costs 3 AI credits — the same cost as other Content Lab video-analysis tools.
How to run
- 1Sign in as a creator. In the dashboard sidebar menu, open Go Viral → Content Lab (desktop).
- 2Import a video: paste a public or unlisted YouTube URL, pick one from your vault, or use a video saved via the Wayo Ads Saver extension.
- 3In Viral Mechanics, choose Pattern Fusion and run it (3 credits).
- 4Read the three sub-scores (progress bars), the overall Pattern Fusion Score (score ring), the one-line innovation verdict, and the Replication Blueprint.
What it uses
On each run, the backend builds a video context block and sends it with the analysis prompt. Pattern synthesis uses packaging, format, and engagement — plus transcript and thumbnail description when available.
- Title and channel name (positioning + format cues)
- Engagement stats when present: views, likes, comments
- Metadata when present: video type (e.g. Short vs long), duration, publish date
Fetched when available
- Spoken transcript / captions (evidence for spoken pattern labels; trimmed for length)
- Thumbnail description generated from the video thumbnail image (visual pattern cues)
Scoring framework
The model scores three pillars for the UI bars, then produces one overall Pattern Fusion Score (0–100). Replication Blueprint frames the analysis — not a separate calculator in the UI. Unlike some Lab tools, this prompt does not assign fixed percentage weights.
Pattern Identification
- List all content patterns present (educational, storytelling, entertainment, challenge, reaction, etc.)
- Score each pattern’s strength (0–100)
- Identify the PRIMARY and SECONDARY patterns
Fusion Analysis
- How different patterns are blended
- Which combinations are novel vs standard
- How visual (thumbnail) and content patterns complement each other
- Cross-platform pattern influences detected
Innovation Score
- How original is this pattern combination?
- What existing formats does it remix?
- What new format does it create?
Replication Blueprint
- Step-by-step formula to recreate this fusion
- Which elements are essential vs optional
- Adaptation guidelines for different niches
What you get
The response is markdown structured for the Content Lab result UI.
- Three sub-scores in bold key-value form — Pattern Identification, Fusion Analysis, and Innovation Score — each as XX / 100 (progress bars + radar). Pattern Identification lists patterns with individual strength scores.
- One overall heading: ## Pattern Fusion Score: XX / 100, followed by a one-line innovation verdict and a step-by-step Replication Blueprint.
- Never empty bullet points or placeholders.
Case study
Scenario
An anonymous creator reverse-engineers a high-performing “challenge + tutorial + reaction” Short to extract a reusable Replication Blueprint before planning a niche adaptation.
Context (inputs available)
- Title + thumbnail description as primary visual-pattern cues
- Engagement stats (likes / comments relative to views)
- Transcript optional — used to label spoken patterns when present
- Short-form format metadata
- Cost: 3 AI credits

Pattern Fusion Score
0 – 100
Challenge stakes + tutorial clarity + mid-clip reaction beat — a remix of three familiar formats into one scroll-stopping Short.
Pattern Identification
- PRIMARY — Challenge / stakes (strength 88): timed dare framed in the title.
- SECONDARY — Tutorial / how-to (strength 79): step language in the middle third.
- Entertainment / reaction (strength 72): face-cut reaction after the reveal.
Fusion Analysis
- Blend: open on stakes → teach one move → react to outcome (novel vs pure challenge or pure tutorial).
- Thumbnail shows the challenge face; spoken content delivers the tutorial — complementary, not redundant.
- Cross-platform cue: TikTok-style mid-clip reaction beat adapted to YouTube Shorts.
Innovation Score
- Remixes challenge + tutorial + reaction rather than inventing a wholly new genre.
- Creates a three-beat Short format: stake → teach → react.
Replication Blueprint
- Essential: one measurable stake in the first 2s, one teachable step, one authentic reaction beat.
- Optional: on-screen countdown, guest reaction, series numbering.
- Niche adaptation: keep the three-beat fusion; swap the skill and the stake language for your audience.
Takeaways
- Name PRIMARY vs SECONDARY patterns before remixing — strength scores show what to keep dominant.
- Treat thumbnail and content patterns as a pair: complementary info beats repeating the same cue twice.
- Use the Replication Blueprint as a checklist for the next upload — not a script to copy verbatim.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does this guarantee my next video will go viral?
No. Pattern Fusion is an AI format-engineering estimate and Replication Blueprint. It explains likely pattern combinations; it does not guarantee virality or repeat results.
What if there is no transcript?
The analysis still runs with equal confidence and does not mention a missing transcript. It uses title, format, engagement, thumbnail, and channel positioning.
Is this the same as Content DNA Patterns?
No. Content DNA extracts a style fingerprint (speech, architecture, engagement, visuals). Pattern Fusion focuses on how multiple format patterns are blended and how to replicate that fusion.
How much does one run cost?
3 AI credits per Pattern Fusion run, same as other Content Lab video-analysis tools.
