Click Probability
A Content Lab tool that estimates how likely viewers are to click, based on title appeal, curiosity triggers, and thumbnail effectiveness — then returns a 0–100 Click Probability Score.
Overview
Click Probability sits in Content Lab under Video Analysis. Open the dashboard sidebar menu: Go Viral → Content Lab (creator account, desktop), load a public or unlisted YouTube video, then run Click Probability. Each run costs 3 AI credits — the same cost as other Content Lab video-analysis tools.
How to run
- 1Sign in as a creator. In the dashboard sidebar menu, open Go Viral → Content Lab (desktop).
- 2Import a video: paste a public or unlisted YouTube URL, pick one from your vault, or use a video saved via the Wayo Ads Saver extension.
- 3In Video Analysis, choose Click Probability and run it (3 credits).
- 4Read the three sub-scores, the overall Click Probability Score, and the title/thumbnail findings.
What it uses
Each analysis looks at the video’s title, packaging, and performance. The tool uses all available context, with special attention to the thumbnail description for visual click appeal.
- Title and channel name
- Engagement stats when present: views, likes, comments
- When present: title, description, and tags, plus video type (e.g. Short vs longer video), duration, and publish date
Fetched when available
- Thumbnail description generated from the video thumbnail image (primary input for Thumbnail Effectiveness)
- Captions — secondary for this tool
Scoring framework
The tool scores three parts of the score, then produces one overall Click Probability Score (0–100). The percentages below show how much each part counts toward the score.

35%- Curiosity gap strength
- Emotional trigger intensity
- Power word usage and positioning
- Front-loaded hook (first 4 words)
Thumbnail Effectiveness
40%- Visual contrast and readability at mobile scale
- Emotional expression / face presence
- Text overlay effectiveness
- Curiosity-driven composition and color scheme impact
Title-Thumbnail Synergy
25%- Whether the thumbnail adds information the title withholds
- Visual–text complementarity
- Combined curiosity multiplier

Score breakdown
0–100
- Title Click Appeal84/100
- Thumbnail Effectiveness71/100
- Title-Thumbnail Synergy76/100
Click Probability Score
77 / 100
Strong curiosity gap in the title; thumbnail contrast is solid but text overlay competes with the face at mobile size.
Title Click Appeal
- Front-loaded hook lands the outcome in the first four words.
- Power words create urgency without sounding spammy.
Thumbnail Effectiveness
- High contrast subject vs background helps small-screen readability.
- Face presence adds emotion; overlay text should be shortened for mobile.
Title-Thumbnail Synergy
- Thumbnail shows the “before” state the title withholds.
- Together they multiply curiosity instead of repeating the same line.
Takeaways
- Keep the front-loaded title hook that lands the outcome in the first four words.
- Shorten mobile overlay text so it does not compete with the face.
- Ensure the thumbnail adds information the title withholds — complement, don’t repeat.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this my real YouTube CTR?
No. Click Probability is an AI score of how compelling the title and thumbnail look for clicks. It does not read your YouTube Analytics CTR percentage.
What if there are no captions?
The analysis still runs and does not mention missing captions. Packaging (title + thumbnail) is the main focus of this tool.
What if the thumbnail description cannot be generated?
The tool infers likely thumbnail strategy from title style, channel niche, and engagement metrics, then still scores Thumbnail Effectiveness and synergy.
How much does one run cost?
3 AI credits per Click Probability run, same as other Content Lab video-analysis tools.
