Generate Scripts & Strategy
A Content Lab Quick Action that writes 3 original YouTube scripts inspired by a reference video — each with HOOK, BODY, and CTA in spoken language.
Overview
Generate Scripts & Strategy sits in Content Lab as a Quick Action (Content Generation). Open the dashboard sidebar: Go Viral → Content Lab (creator account, desktop), load a public or unlisted YouTube video, then click Generate Scripts & Strategy. Each run costs 10 AI credits.
How to run
- 1Sign in as a creator. In the dashboard sidebar menu, open Go Viral → Content Lab (desktop).
- 2Import a video: paste a public or unlisted YouTube URL, pick one from your vault, or use a video saved via the Wayo Ads Saver extension.
- 3In the Quick Actions sidebar, click Generate Scripts & Strategy (10 credits).
- 4Read three scripts as structured markdown — each with HOOK, BODY, and CTA sections.
What it uses
On each run, the API builds video context and sends it with the elite script-writer prompt. Style and structure come from title, stats, duration, and format — plus a transcript snippet when available.
- Video title (primary style / topic signal)
- Channel name when present
- Engagement stats when present: views
- Format and duration when present: Short vs long-form
Fetched when available
- Spoken transcript snippet for spoken cadence, tone, and retention pattern
Generation rules
The model follows strict generation rules — this is not a scored analysis tool. Output is only three structured scripts; no score ring.
Creativity constraints
- Natural, spoken language — no corporate or marketing tone
- Same style, energy, and structure as the reference
- Vary topic/angle but keep the pattern
- No emojis
Format constraints
- Exactly 3 scripts
- Each script: HOOK, BODY, CTA
- ## Script N and ### HOOK / BODY / CTA headings
- Shorts ~30–60s; videos ~60–90s; total response under 500 tokens
What you get
The response is structured markdown rendered in the Quick Actions result panel.
- Three original scripts (## Script 1–3).
- Each script has ### HOOK, ### BODY, and ### CTA with spoken lines underneath.
- No score breakdown, checklist, or long analysis body.
Case study
Scenario
An anonymous creator pulls three short-form script variants from a high-performing “I tested 5 productivity apps — four failed” video before shooting their next Short.
Context (inputs available)
- Title with a stakes / experiment pattern
- Engagement stats and Short format when present
- Transcript snippet optional
- Cost: 10 AI credits
Tool result (Script 1 of 3)
Same experiment pattern, new angle — spoken HOOK → BODY → CTA under 60 seconds.
Script 1
HOOK
I tried five focus apps this week. Four of them made me slower.
BODY
App one buried me in menus. Two and three pinged nonstop. Four looked clean until I actually worked. Five? It stayed out of the way and just tracked the one habit that mattered.
CTA
Want the one that survived? Comment “focus” and I’ll drop the name.
Takeaways
- Use Generate Scripts & Strategy when you need full spoken drafts; use Generate Viral Hooks for cold-open lines only.
- Film the angle that keeps the reference pattern while changing the topic.
- Keep each script camera-ready: HOOK stops the scroll, BODY delivers the payoff, CTA asks for one clear action.
